On December 5th, 2016: Yan-Chuen Lee, Canadian Tenor presented a unique twenty-one aria recital featuring oratorio excerpts, beloved art songs and opera arias. Solo Recital Debut, Pt. 1(Live) features 11 tracks recorded Live during this unique concert presentation. And now Solo Recital Debut, Part 2 (Live) features an additional 10 tracks that complete this unique twenty-one aria recital, completely self-produced by YC Lee.
YC Lee’s self-produced solo project entitled, “Solo Recital Debut, Pt. 2(Live)” is a virtuoso display of bel canto pyrotechnics designed to showcase the three octave range of this uniquely talented classical singer.
Recorded December 5th, 2016. Voice & Piano. Selected excerpts from the world of Oratorio, Art Song and Opera performed by Canadian Tenor Y.C. Lee & pianist Irina Klimova. This marks the first Complete Live recording collection produced by Y.C. Lee and features 10 recorded tracks from this unique concert performance. Solo Recital Debut, Pt.2(Live) is the second of a two part recording collection from YC Lee.
Biography: Based in Toronto, Canadian Tenor YC Lee has worked with Tapestry New Opera Works, Opera Hamilton, Opera bel canto of York, Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, Opera Buffa and Opera Anonymous amongst others. Highlights include Beppe (I Pagliacci) with Brampton Lyric Opera, Kaspar (Amahl & the Night Visitors) with NoStringsTheatre, Don Basilio (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Opera Buffa & Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, Franz (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) with Creative Artists Productions. Awards include Gold Medal from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Performer’s Associate Diploma SINGING).
