Taylor Swift September cover: Best social media reactions

Taylor Swift‘s take on Earth, Wind & Fire’s September, released on Spotify on Friday, fell flat with fans.

The pop star was ripped to shreds online for taking the hit 1978 song and stripping it of it’s funky rhythms, instead delivering a folk-sounding version of the classic.

Twitter user Michael Arceneaux said of the song: ‘If you were curious to hear what unseasoned boiled chicken breast sounded like in a song, take a listen to Taylor Swift cover Earth, Wind & Fire.’
