City to refresh Black Lives Matter mural at City Hall
The city of Cincinnati says it will refresh the Black Lives Matter mural in front of City Hall this week.The mural refresh process is open to the public and will include music by DJ Monet and a performance by Cleocrt.Black Art Speaks, the city’s mural partner, says the outlines of each letter in “B”, “L” and “M” will be refreshed on Wednesday and a protective overlay will be applied to the mural on Thursday.Both events will take place from 3-6 p.m.The city says traffic on Plum Street will be blocked between 8th and 9th streets beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15 through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21.
