Meghan Markle and Prince Harry deliver ’emphatic’ message with subtle move at recent event

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry delivered an “emphatic message” while they sat together at a recent art event.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared at a celebration at The Kinsey African American Art and History Collection last month, cosying up with many influential figures in the art world.

Among them, Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles also attended the event and shared a sweet snap with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.

Meghan and Harry were pictured beaming in the audience and also enjoying the powerful artwork on display.

Speaking to, body language expert Judi James told us their appearance mirrored looks from the Sussexes royal fans have seen before.

“There is one emphatic message from the body language here in terms of Harry and Meghan’s appearance at the Kinsey collection,” she said.

“And that is produced from the intensive mirroring of their poses.”

Meghan and Harry’s appearance in the audience was clearly visible in a black-and-white photo released by the Kinsey Collection on Instagram.

“They sit side by side here smiling the same eye-crinkled smile and in identical positions,” Judi went on.

“Looking slightly upward with a similar awe-struck but philanthropic look they had in their iconic photo from the Invictus Games that they then used for their Xmas card.

“It suggests huge pleasure in watching the people they help succeed.

“Even their proffered hugs are matching here, with peas-in-a-pod smiles of warm affection thrown over their guests’ shoulders.”

The Sussexes were clearly glad to be a part of the important occasion, though the expert also suggests the event presented a great PR opportunity for the former Suits star.

“Meghan’s solo pose suggests a moment of what looks like quiet reflection here although the sideways angle she stands at to view the pictures is more camera-friendly for her than art-viewer-friendly,” Judi said.

“Her upward glance and the way her hands are held in the air, lightly touching, suggests she wants to be seen as in awe of the talent on display.”

According to the Kinsey Collection’s Instagram post, the VIP attendees “discussed the history and significance of Black art and how various communities can work together to preserve this vital piece of American history.”
